Jun 21	EAA-1114 Summer Picnic Put June 21 on your calendar for our summer picnic. We hope to make it memorable event with live music, airplanes on static display, a raffle for a gift certificate for a one-hour instructional flight in an Allegro Light Sport Aircraft, and food. The picnic is from 11 AM to 2 PM, rain or shine. If you have a homebuilt (in any state of completion) or an antique airplane, or any airplane you are just plane proud of, consider placing it on static display (maybe we should have a judging?). We would like to have planes parked by 10:00, and for safety reasons, and so we can hear the music, we would like to have most runway traffic occurring before and after the 11-2 window. The meal is at noon and is potluck, so bring an assortment of dishes (including deserts) and enough food to share. The chapter will provide plates, eating utensils, and drinks. The drawing will be around 1:30 (must be present to win). Please bring your family. Although the event is a celebration for the membership, feel free to invite friends of the Chapter, but bring enough food for them or ask them to bring a dish.
